Life is a Highway ... Even down on the farm

Tio and the boo on the cotton picker.
Boo on the cotton module ... yes it was after bed time.

Kyleigh and her mommy on Halloween.
Lala and Kyleigh spinnin' way too fast on the merry-go-round!

This is what was supposed to be posted 3 days ago. It somehow appeared as a post and I had to edit to add this explanation. Still learning! I share it because it again explains how my heart was changed. Basically it is about the same as above with some different wording. :)

When we started out on this adventure in Far, Far, Away Land I was having a pity party. A huge pity party. I hated it here. Nothing was of interest to me. Then I realized it was because I was having a bad attitude about it. When I finally decided to pull up my boot straps (literally) and hand it all over to the Lord, He began to work on my heart. Big time. What a relief! No one likes to live in a state of depression and that was where I was. And here I had a wonderful, loving husband, a roof over my head that I was able to decorate to my likings :), and in-laws right up the street to help with anything we needed. What in the world was I complaining about? I now fully understand "Home is where your heart is". My heart was not here. Now it is. And everyday gets better.

We have had some really fun adventures down here in Bishop. Gracie has torn into just about everything she can get her paws on. Kyleigh has been staying with us for about 4 months now and she loves to drive the combine. We have been doing kindergarten home-school and she is moving right along! I will leave out the mice stories for those of you who have the ebby jebbies.

"Day and night I will stick with God; I've got a good thing going and I am not letting go. I am happy from the outside in, I am firmly formed." -Psalm 16:8-9 from The Message
