Koda Bleu

To my father's dismay, we have decided on a name. Koda Bleu. The tie breaker was that her dad's name is Kojo, so we thought it kinda fit. When I came up with Koda, I said, "Like Kojo, but the female version" and that was before we knew the dad's name. It fits her well. Abigail was my next choice; Dixie was CR's first choice. Oh, the debates when naming a dog. I can not imagine what it will be like if we are ever blessed to have children. If we are, names will be a secret. Gender will be a secret (I want to be surprised anyhow). But for dogs, we can let everyone in on the fun!

A few posts back I told yall I was thinking about taking up children's photography as a hobby, maybe some side cash. Mainly just for fun. Well, I prayed and searched, and the Lord brought me a good deal. You know I can not pass up good deals. So CR and I talked & prayed about it, then decided to try out this good deal. It came in today. I have already taken about fifty pictures in the last thirty minutes. Fun stuff. Beautiful stuff. I have a long ways to go as a photographer, but these are some test pictures. The kit came with two training DVDs. Yes, I know you are jealous. No worries. I will have a viewing party if you want to come enjoy, "Learning the Full Potential of Your DSLR".
