My Best Friend's Wedding

What I wanted to say at my toast, but thought it would be too long ...
"Bethany and I have known each other for 17 years. These past 17 years have been so blessed because she was a part of them. Growing up side by side has been such and adventure and I look forward to the many more adenventures as we continue to grow. I thank the Lord for sending such a special person to me so early on in life, so that we could go through moments such as this together. I was so honored to stand next to her today, and I am even more honored that I can call her friend. The past year and half I have been thanking the Lord for Kevin as well. I am so greatful to Him that He sent Kevin to be my best friend's prince charming, because I can not imagine anyone better for her. They are like peas and carrots and compliment each other so well. I have enjoyed watching them not only grow in love but also in the Lord. I can not wait to see how this growth continues in the many years to come. Bethany, I know what your dad would be doing right now at this moment. He would be smiling from ear to ear and boasting with pride, because you see Kevin is not only the kind of man a best friend prays for, but he is also the kind of man that any father would be so proud for his daughter to spend the rest of her life with. Yall are beautiful inside and out and I think I speak for everyone here when I say we are greatful that you are a part of our lives and we are blessed to be here with you today. Without further ado, let us toast this beautiful couple: Beth, we have been friends through thick and thin, we will be friends to the very end. We are like sisters from other mothers, so Kevin it seems to me as if I have just gained a brother. To Bethany and Kevin, may your marriage always be a little slice of Heaven."

Lengthy I know, but you know me, I am a talker and I just love them both so much. I really can not even say how much they mean to me. Like I said, thankful and blessed is how I feel at this very moment.

Wow, Lauren. What you said at the reception was amazing, but that was just spectacular. You say you are grateful to be a part of our lives, but I have to thank you for all the support you and C.R. have given us and for letting us be a part of your lives. Friends like you don't come around often. God Bless!
