Missing Friends & Tearing Down Walls

Today I am working on a scrapbook of my best friend Bethany and I. I am also going to be knocking down an entire wall of sheetrock. I know, you are super jealous of the later. :) Going through these pictures of Bethany and I has really taken me down a great walk on memory lane. I am reminded of how God has thought of everything and how He has the best sense of humor of us all.
Needless to say, Bethany and I met in the 4th grade when both of our mothers took us to register at our new school, Montgomery Intermediate. We were the only two families there at that given time and guess what ... we were wearing the exact same outfit. Apparently my favorite outfit was also her favorite outfit. Who knew when we walked out that day and got into our seperate suburbans we would have just started a life long friendship. A few more things we now have in common that God always had in His hands ...
**Teachers
**Have secret snickers
**Married (well Bethany is about to marry) men from South Texas
**Christians
**Big on family
**Want babies and babies when it is our time
**Have an older sister
**Love to be creative (Bethany is more creative than I am, but I try and love to try)
**Like to be organized in our own way :)
**Could spend all our money and time in Target
**I could go on and on, but the rest is Sisterhood Secrets.
I am just so thankful that He put her into my life when He did. I know I can count on her for anything in the world and I would do anything for her. She is genuine and always knows how to make me smile. I miss her terribly, but know that she is always close in thought and just a phone call away!

----> Haha, I just noticed my hair is a different cut in every picture! :)

I remember that day well. I know how you miss her.
It is so amazing how God places us in situations for later, He does prepare us for so much when we least expect it and then when something comes up later we say"oh the Lord knows me best". Thank you Lord for placing the Rod family in our lifes. I can't wait to see the scrapbook. Love momma
