Since I am writing this you must know we have survived Dolly. My first encounter with a hurricane in South Texas. It hit much more North than they predicted it would. It also stayed on that Northern path instead of going into Mexico. This morning when I woke up, her eye was above Kingsville (about 15 miles South of our house). My eyes were glued to the windows looking for tornadoes that may spin off. It was super windy and I kept imagining our french doors being pushed open by the gusts. I prayed and prayed and would like to believe that I prayed them away.
We were not able to get to the corn before the storm. We had some issues with the header on Tuesday so the machine was not ready in time. Apparently that is ok though; corn can stand through Dolly. It will prevail!
We are off to try to have dinner in Corpus. We are all going stir crazy from being holed up in the house since Tuesday. Oh ya, and did I tell you that our dishwasher is not working? I feel like I have been washing dishes 24/7 so CR thought it would be a nice break for me, and the water, to not have to wash dishes tonight. Thanks hun!

Thank you for shariing the boys, they are so cute and I love the hat and tounge one.
The sunflowers are so pretty to see too. God blesses us in so many ways, sometimes we need to be reminded from such simple beauty.
" Oh the Lord is good to me and so I thank the Lord for giving me the sunflowers and the grain oh the Lord is good to me"Amen
Keeping you in my prayers momma
