Go Wildcats

So after many complaints that I had not updated lately, here goes:
Life is super busy, super fun and I am super lovin' it! Calallen High School is really great. I feel right at home; it is as if I have taught here for years and years. For the most part the students are really well behaved. Of course you have your handfull, but like I said, the "most part" is really good and really fun. I love being back in the classroom. I think I have more fun than you should as a teacher. There are times when I find myself saying and doing many things that my fave teacher (shout out to Mrs. Gold) did when I was in high school. Being silly but getting things done. :) Kids remember that way. I thank the Lord every morning on my commute out to school for this job. He has me here for a reason.
Our friends Brooke and Ray moved last week. We helped them off and on when we could to get them packed up. We are really going to miss their fellowship but we know the Lord has some special plans for them. I will not go into details on here, there are things they may not want me to share, but in your prayers please lift up the Heurs. They are in search of a job for Ray and have faithfully followed the Lord's calling back to Missouri where they are originally from.

FAITH started full swing last Tuesday and what a BANG we started out with. My team (CR, Mark and I) went to visit a family that had visited the church the Sunday before. They were itching to find out more about RHBC and what church really was. Long story short, we shared the FAITH outline and they all prayed to receive Christ. Praise God :)~!
Koda gets her stitches out tomorrow. There is swelling, about the size of a golfball on her head. I am hoping that it will go away in a few days. I am wondering if it just has not had time to heal without being "worked on". I know she will be super thankful to get the cone off. She runs into things left and right with it.
Kyleigh started kindergarten last week. I have not received (which I am pretty upset about!!) any pics of her first days, but as soon as I get them I will post some. She has told me all about what she is already learning and some fun songs to sing ... "Kentucky fried chicken and a pizza hut ..."
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
