December 13th was a very busy and exciting day. CR and I left Calallen at 10:00 Friday the 12th from a Christmas party and headed to College Station so we could surprise Megan at her graduation that morning. We arrived safely in town around 2:15 that morning ... just in time for Ryan to be getting home and going to bed. Thank you Ryan for your hospitality!

We then headed out to Montgomery to surprise Kyleigh at her 6th birthday party.

She could not believe we were there.

Needless to say, that night we went to bed about 9:00. Long day, but it was worth it to the loved ones who wanted us there on their special days. Kyleigh even called me Super LaLa.

Christmas time! This year Christmas was very different. My parents are still kicked out of their house because of Ike. It should be completely finished in about 2 weeks. So, Christmas Eve we all spent the night at Grandma's house. Dad slept on the living room floor to try to catch Santa for Kyleigh. This is my attempt to wake him up ...

Santa visited Koda! She can open presents. Yes, I know, I am a very proud parent of her talents!
Kyleigh got her mother a beautiful frame for a picture of the two of them.Precious Kyleigh. I can't believe she is already 6.
They love to play "tickle fight Lala". I am always the victim!
My whole body pretty much turns into JELLO and I can not do a thing to defend myself. CR is a good husband though and holds me up until I can regain composer. This is my attempt at a closed mouth smile. Didn't work out so well, but it's the only one I was able to get of just the two of us. This is already our 3rd Christmas as Lauren and CR Patrick. Is it about time to add another one to the picture? Well we do have Koda ...

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I will let them speak for me during this post. There is so much to post on that I do not know where to start and we still have company. So for now, sorry fans that request essays! I have some deep things to share so hopefully when I have another break in a few days I will have time to post for you!
